Nexen Winguard Winspike WS62 tires are designed to allow for the installation of aftermarket studs which, when installed, provide greatly improved traction on ice and snow. Sipe and block rigidity in addition to the V-shaped tread pattern help to maximize handling. The Winspike WS62 provides improved ice and snow traction over the original Winguard Winspike SUV model, not to mention a more comfortable ride.

WARNING: Due to the unique handling properties of winter tires, we only recommend installing them in complete sets.

NOTE: Tires are shipped without studs. Studs should be installed by a qualified technician

The Nexen Winguard Winspike WS62 studable winter SUV/CUV radial maximizes winter performance through the use of an optimized arrangement of sipes which help to maintain tread block rigidity in addition to providing grip.
The directional tread pattern and V shaped groove is designed to provide outstanding performance in the snow while also maintaining traction in the wet.
The center rib is continuous for improved handling and stability.
Superior traction on ice can be achieved by installing studs while the addition of more stud locations near the center of the tread further enhance grip and driving stability.
