The inner shoulder of the Nankang AS-1 features thin sipes and straight grooves which normalize tread stiffness, reduce irregular wear, and enhance ride comfort.
Silica-enhanced tread increases grip on wet surfaces and reduces rolling friction for improved fuel economy.
Numerous circumferential grooves allow for water drainage to help minimize hydroplaning.
