The sporty asymmetric tread features a semi-continuous outside shoulder rib for excellent dry cornering stability and steering response and an inside shoulder rib designed to enhance wet traction.
Four wide main circumferential grooves help to evacuate water and resist hydroplaning.
The staircase arrangement of the outer rib blocks provides for an increased contact patch with the surface as the tread wears, ensuring consistently high traction performance throughout the tire's useful life.
The Ventus S1 evo2 SUV utilizes Hankook's latest generation of silica compound, formulated with an optimized cross-linking system that improves wet traction, wear characteristics and thermal ageing resistance.
The high traction styrene polymer formula provides enhanced wet performance with reducing rolling resistance.
