Features
The Destination LE2 is the next generation of Firestone's best-selling Destination LE highway truck radial and boasts improvements in several key areas including dry performance, ride comfort and noise and fuel efficiency.
The five-rib symmetric tread pattern features four circumferential grooves with s-shaped lateral grooves for reduced hydroplaning and enhanced wet traction.
Numerous zig-zag sipes provide biting edges for improved traction in light snow.
The tread compound of the Destination LE2 is enhanced with silica and provides excellent wet traction along with a 15 percent reduction in the rolling resistance coefficient over its predecessor.
Spirally-wrapped nylon over twin steel belt construction helps to maintain uniformity and enhances strength and durability.
