The Falken Espia EPZ II is an excellent blend of winter performance and longer tread wear and helps ensure driving confidence in the harshest winter conditions by utilizing the latest technologies in tread design, compound and construction.
The asymmetric tread contains several wide circumferential grooves which improve wet traction by channeling water away from the tread contact area.
Wide lateral grooves work in conjunction with wide pockets to increase traction in slushy or deep snow by allowing more snow to pack into the tread, clearing the road surface more quickly.
Falken's enhanced 3D Canyon Sipe Technology utilizes a much thinner sipe profile which allows for a 25% increase in sipe density over its predecessor for better ice braking and enhanced snow/wet traction.
The specialized polymer tread compound is enriched with silica which helps the Espia EPZ II maintain its flexibility in colder temperatures for consistent performance in snowy/icy conditions.
Meets the severe snow service requirement of the Rubber Manufacturer's Association (RMA) and carries the mountain/snowflake symbol.
T speed rated.
The Falken Espia EPZ II is available in 15 through 18 inch wheel sizes and 40-65 series aspect ratios.
