The Transforce series is Firestone's replacement for their workhorse Steeltex series. The Transforce HT, like its predecessor the Steeltex R4S, is designed to blend ride comfort with confident, all weather capability for pickups, SUVs, and commercial vehicles. Its polyester and steel construction features a high modulus tread compound that gives it the added durability and long tread wear necessary for working vehicles. The Transforce HT tread design features wide circumferential grooves and deep shoulder grooves to enhance traction on wet surfaces and to help minimize hydroplaning. The Transforce HT also utilizes noise reduction technology that produces noise-canceling sound waves to provide a quiet, comfortable ride.
